I'm about to extend my Malaysia license, if we need to renew our MY license whenever it expire then I shall apply for 5 years, if no, then I may just extend MY license minimal years as Singapore license doesn't need to be renewed. Thanks dai gor and expats-expats |

Without LKY, most likely we won't be here chatting
With LKY in Malaysia, probably there will be "Working in Malaysia" in hardwarezone forum. Anyway, credit to him. RIP |

QUOTE(deodorant @ Mar 25 2015, 07:19 AM) Strictly speaking you're not supposed to even have a (valid) Malaysian license after converting it to a Singapore one. Anyways Singapore license is valid for use in Malaysia as well so up to you whether you want to continue renewing Malaysia one or not. you mean after we got our SG license, no need to renew the Malaysian license. Thanks bro for your clearing of doubts. Looks like I will just renew MY license for one year, convert into SG license, worry nothing as long as I hold SG license. QUOTE(Mackiddo @ Mar 25 2015, 07:31 AM) Mack Boss, do I need to renew my MY license in future, after I get myself a SG license in next month? sounds like I don't need to pay more to renew for 5 years, so I will just renew my MY license for 1 year and convert into SG license, so I don't need to pay for more years. Thanks all for assistance, correct me if I'm wrong. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OK thanks, what I want to know is, whether to renew my license for 1 year or 5 years, before I convert it into SG license in near future. Looks like I need to renew one year only, since no longer Malaysia license is valid (being suspended when I get my SG license). No intention to have two licenses. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « BTW, does SG license expires for Pass Holder (non-PR)? |

QUOTE(deodorant @ Jun 7 2015, 12:19 AM) Consciously choosing to live under means is different story. Like you, you can sort of afford Cayenne but instead decide to just drive X5, and can sort of stay sentosa cove but instead decide to be more comfortable and buy CBD condo. But if you married and come to SG to work and got no choice but to rent room ... might as well go back KL, easier to compete there and get decent salary to have your own place, cars, etc what. QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Jun 7 2015, 10:36 AM) Some not born so fortunately or get high ranking bank job like you ma. My parents still renting unit after 3 of us born tu. Romantic ma share room with wife Thanks for two different perspectives made.2 people average income should can rent a small condo, get a car no problem right, eat restaurant and annual trip, only thing is no saving. |
