It's only on case-to-case basis and you still need to pay the OMV of your Msian car in S'pore car equivalent value. On top of that you will need to pay the daily $35 VEP fee. Not worth to venture down this road. Just buy a resale SG car

first of all, there's no international driving licence, only international driving permit. There's no other purpose for it other that to serve as a English translation for non-English driving licence.

Talking about driving license, I got question if sifu here can help to answer.

I understand for a PR to drive in SG we need to have SG driving license.

To obtain driving license we need to pass Basic Theory Test and convert our MYS Driving License (Extract needed from JPJ)

I am wondering if we can do the conversion if it is after 3 months after obtaining my PR?

eCitizen- Driving in SG - Looking into this link we are required to convert within 3 months
Conversion of Foreign Driving License- Looking into the link from SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE, there are no such requirement

lol what are you talking about man. government has every right to set whatever rules/laws they want. if you don't want to follow then just BMW (bus mrt walk) everywhere lo.

p.s. it is not just a PR thing. By right even Work Pass holders only allowed to use Malaysian license for the first year, after that oso supposed to convert to SG license.

Hi guys, Happy CNY. Need to ask for a favor here.
Currently I'm facing this situation. Company A offered me a job and helped me apply for EP, it's approved. However, Company A told me they no longer need to hire new employee. Therefore, they withdrawn my EP application before I started to work there.
So now, Company B wanted to offer me a job, they will be applying EP for me again. My question is, will it affect the result of my second EP approval since my first one was withdrawn? Thanks
