Wanna ask, I got an offer which qualifies me to get both type of passes. But from what I read, E-Pass is mainly for employees with >3.4k which is higher than my offer. So what are the chances to get E-Pass approved?
**My future employer S-Pass quota has finished.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ May 1 2015, 08:55 PM) You degree holder or?? If degree holder (not sure about diploma) they probably give you EP. Otherwise maybe MOM will only give S Pass. If S Pass quota max then too bad. Yea, degree holder

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ May 1 2015, 09:43 PM) Should be EP d. SP is for Skilled Worker. Got degree most probably consider professional d. Don't bother looking at the 3.4k thingy. It's not for Malaysian fresh grad unless you got into some of the really big and high pay company. Appreciate your clarification. Hope there's good news by next week

Found something about the driving license: QUOTE The International Driving Permit (IDP) is recognised worldwide as a valuable document identifying motorists as legally-licensed drivers.
While the Singapore driving licence is recognised in many countries, the IDP can minimise inconvenience when renting a car or driving in a country where English is not commonly spoken. The IDP contains driving terms in various languages and can aid communication with car rental companies and other authorities. The IDP is also a useful form of photo identification for the driver.
For peace of mind, we recommend Singapore driving licence holders intending to drive in a foreign country to apply for an IDP.

I have a dilemma.
Usually electricity bill is counted by per pax or per room basis? The place I'll be staying is 2 rooms having 1 air cond each. Me and another couple will occupy both of the rooms.

QUOTE(desmoso @ Aug 24 2015, 02:14 PM) Hi Guys, Recently moved here and wanted to ask everyone here 2 things. 1) What do you guys do during holidays and weekends? Other than going to shopping malls. It seems there is nothing much to do (other than the zoo and Universal Studios). Super bored during the long SG50 holiday. Botanic Garden. Free admission to National Orchid Garden2) Where to go for cheap happy hour drinks? I mean cheaper than the usual 15 dollars per pint affair. Any cheap and decent place to have a pint and hang out?
