QUOTE(titarium @ Jan 19 2015, 04:04 PM) You are still a Malaysian , PR is just a permanent resident which gives you a trial period for citizenship you may hold this trial period as long as you want if the Gov doesn't revoke your PR status. PR must be renew every 5 years - it is just like you r driving license , you still hold the same driving license just that your eligibility on the road extends another 3- 5 years. There's also basic T&C to ensure you can renew your PR. Once you apply make sure you are serious about it , if you are given the approval you better accept it else you'll end up being black listed, getting black listed in Singapore is a very very thought to get out, so always think twice before doing alot of things. once u reject ur PR then there is not turning back...

QUOTE(Blackdawn @ Jan 16 2015, 03:44 PM) Hi guys, Have some question here, what is the easiest way to transfer money back to malaysia at the money exchange rate without paying the TT fees? Other than exchange money and go back then bank in myself? I am using DBS in SG and Maybank in Malaysia. I saw Maybank SG-MY have this function where i can transfer the money via regionlink, anyone tried?what are the charges? and what about CIMB? MBB SG Region Link transfer from MBBSg to MBBMy costs $15 per transaction. Exchange rate is the typical bank rate. So only use it when you are transfering like... A lot of MYR per transaction for security and convenience. Somehow there is no option for MBBMY to transfer money back to MBBSG. No MBBMy RegionLink or MoneyExpress option to Singapore MBB @.@ CIMB does not do personal banking in SG. Sgd-Myr rate now 2.7. You guys memang hoseh liao. I'm a 4th year E&E student from Malaysia public uni, I'm considering whether to attend NUS's career fair on the 10th/13th Feb. Thinking of trying my luck there.
Question is, do you guys think it'll be worth the time and effort?

Thanks you! I've posted in the edu section already. QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Jan 26 2015, 11:14 AM) What to do when you are nobody or some fish in big pond? Jobs are first come first served, better queue 2 days earlier. You're right! Freshies like us should make extra effort to earn the confidence from our hiring managers (especially for our 1st job in sg). I guess I'll just make a trip there. Any face to face meeting is gold
