QUOTE(cherryl9 @ Jan 16 2015, 06:38 AM) Hi guys, actually, once we become a PR, it is considered as a permanent thing unless we renounce it (which means i will have to leave Singapore?) I am confused, because i have heard of "renewing" PR instead? What is this renewal thing? If i don't renew, that means i am renouncing? Also, can i withdraw my application after i have applied? If you are applying PR primarily for the dependent's pass for your parents, suggest you invite them over for few weeks stay, decide what they really want. My in laws can't take it, they were so bored they went back early. My parents come here once a while to spend their money, they are happy here because they have friends and works here. You also need to consider their expenses, medical bomb bills, and stuff.

I wonder what is the employment prospects for the pinoy who got sacked by TTS hospital for posting sensitive FB remarks about sinkies. Maybe he can go back pinoy land for a couple of years then when all is forgotten, come back to work in SG?

Hi guys,
Have some question here, what is the easiest way to transfer money back to malaysia at the money exchange rate without paying the TT fees?
Other than exchange money and go back then bank in myself?
I am using DBS in SG and Maybank in Malaysia.
I saw Maybank SG-MY have this function where i can transfer the money via regionlink, anyone tried?what are the charges? and what about CIMB?

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jan 15 2015, 03:17 PM) Keep looking only lo... Nothing else you can do. SG government pressing employees to hire Singaporeans. What can you do? Haha noted. i have been applying so many jobs in sgpore. only 1 replied. She replied thru mail on 14/1 and call her back after 1 and half hour. Till today no news yet. HR said that she will forward this to hiring mgmr. if I am shortlisted, she will inform me to go for an interview.

Anyone here knows roughly when is the e-appointment slot for PR application gonna be opened for the second half of the year? I wonder if they accept salary slips from two different companies over the span of the required six months

Mostly for surfing and calling, for about 1 week usage All prepaid plan actually same one. Call rate also same. So the cost for Singtel/Starhub/M1 all same. But coverage wise, go for Singtel. Ask anyone in SG and they'll easily tell you Singtel best coverage haha... $7 for 1GB for 7 days (8 days including the day you buy it )
