only PR and Singaporean have CPF, the rest don't have. Singapore tax is generally lower than Malaysia, probably just 50% of what you have projected here. If you need more info you could pm deodorant, he's among the elite few who hit $10k/month mark ( fiona chin pls confirm ). What industry are you in?
*
Confirm plus chop don't know what. Just did tax filling for our ceo boss dedo. 20% tax rate group. Reach 10k per month mark very humble way to put it. All please appreciate contribution from boss dedo coming ndp when the fireworks go off.

Actually after going through the room rental sites, I almost come to think that... Places near East coast (eunos/bedok/paya lebar etc) actually easily as expensive as those towards the West (clementi, redhill, tiong bahru etc)... It's like on average, Singapore room rental is already at that level doh.gif

Imagine you have 2 condo now, earn till siao, every month extra money after installment from rental. Thanks FTs!

Hi guys, actually, once we become a PR, it is considered as  a permanent thing unless we renounce it (which means i will have to leave Singapore?) I am confused, because i have heard of "renewing" PR instead? What is this renewal thing? If i don't renew, that means i am renouncing?

Also, can i withdraw my application after i have applied?
*
If you are applying PR primarily for the dependent's pass for your parents, suggest you invite them over for few weeks stay, decide what they really want. My in laws can't take it, they were so bored they went back early. My parents come here once a while to spend their money, they are happy here because they have friends and works here. You also need to consider their expenses, medical bomb bills, and stuff.

Let's say, if you have 1.5 years experience, Msia offering RM4800, SG offering (3600, no cpf so +632 = total 4232sgd), which one to go for?

malaysia = IT operations work, permanent staff
SG =  SAP implementation work, permanent staff + chance to travel.

Hello, still primary school? Can't decide your own future?

Your mileage may varies, all I want to say.

As for the "basic T&C" to renew REPs,... with eREP (instant online renewal), I'm not so sure that each REP renewal is scrutinised anymore.
*
It still does, pre-scrutinised in the e-system.

I'm a 4th year E&E student from Malaysia public uni, I'm considering whether to attend NUS's career fair on the 10th/13th Feb. Thinking of trying my luck there.

Question is, do you guys think it'll be worth the time and effort?
*

For those of you who have been offered a higher position to relocate back to Malaysia, how much higher would you demand from your recruiter, considering Malaysia will tax the max 26% on salary?
*
If I am the top tier, I would be worrying about my safety rather than the 6% difference.

Hi, i'm a master degree holder, graduated from one of the top 20 UK university.

I'm planning to find a job (Management consulting/HR-related) in Singapore. I don't have any working experience (except internship during undergrad) before this as I proceeded to my masters straight after my undergrad study.

I'm wondering whats the salary range like for a master degree holder in singapore? Thanks.
*
Would be looking at fresh grad degree pay unless you are those creams from the Oxybridge, Imperial, LSE and maybe UCL. UK Top 20 competing with Philippines Top 20, India Top 20, MY Top 20... not to mention SG own Top 3 universities.

Got permit or not running private chartered bus? Trying to imagine either people who bought it waiting for the bus to come for few hours and the hp above cannot be contacted anymore, or LTA officers storming the bus with m16 once the bus start moving.

As a responsible foreign worker, think should tip off this suspicious activity to LTA or TP.

You experienced both sides. Only you could, and should, answer that question, all by yourself, with your family members' opinion if you really need to.

Since got ppl say you should, I would say you should not. Pay cut about 50k rm? 1 year you rugi 50k, 20 years you rugi 1 million lo.
