JE is growing as the KL - Singapore rail is suppose to be there. The thing about Singapore is that even if an area is not walking distance from MRT, you have bus to compensate for that. If you die die want beside MRT, look at those rental site lo. They have the function to set how far you want your property to be away from the MRT. I believe there is quite a few for green line towards Jurong in stations like Clementi, Chinese Garden & Lakeside.

Note that JE is the interchange with Red line thus in the morning / after work you are expected to be sardine fish.

I used to stay in Jurong (Corporation Road), takes about 30 mins to get to Commenwealth via bus + MRT. Now i just walk

hi guys, need advice here. i have 4 yrs experience in manufacturing/product engineering field but only limited knowledge on programming. seems like engineering field is going downtrend in everywhere included singapore. can i still get a job there at this timing? (so many malaysians rush there even after currency x3) or should i start another career if i really wanna move there? or just keep within malaysia?

Not sinkie? The key stumbling block is saving up cash + cpf for the down payment. If you can save up enough for down payment then you can easily afford the monthly installments. As general guide, you need 30% of the hdb price in cash + cpf (i.e. 400k hdb need 120k up front).

As of now your CPF should be able to pay the stamp duty and other processing fees .

Appreciate your comment. I calculated my basic 2k SGD is enough to cover all the SG expenses and malaysia commitment (insurance, mother allowance). The rest i earn commission will be my extra. Based on the recruitment agent say that can earn around 1k-2k+ commission. So that's what I thought of going SG.
