me had been through interview session of PWC in April 2009.
It depend on interviewer. Some may ask technical question some may not.
Me was the unlucky person failed to make into PWC.

Me also been rejected by EY, KPMG (Malaysia and S'pore as well).

Erm, I think this annual promotion policy is also being applied in EY. Apparently, this yearly-promotion in KP are said to be applied so to be consistent globally. By looking at working hours in audit firms in Msia/SG, Im not sure how this is fair though, to work doubly hard but minimising chances for our promotions. But who are we to say anything anyways, we are still their employees.

However, this policy affects many new joiners. This is a disadvantage to AA2s who joined from Apr onwards. I just think its not reasonable to hold an AA2 for 1 year and 9 months just to be promoted to AA1! However, this is just what Ive heard from a friend from other department, Im not sure if those Apr-June joiners will still be considered for year end promotion.

So, as a heads up, if you were to be given an offer to join KP in Apr, try to push it to March, at least come year end, the promotion will be considered.

I thinks its not conclusive but if the manager itself approaches you means s(he) wants you in his(her) team or really desperate for staff so just grab all that is available. Some of my colleagues with soo fern, I just with the HR and mine is with the director of my current team. Saturday also work, ha ha.
