I am new in this thread, just want to ask for some advise:

Currently I am working under finance department in a manufacturing company and I have degree in finance with 2 years working experience. Just want to know which type of section should I go which related to my field and qualification: Audit, Tax or Advisory

Thank you in advance for your advise notworthy.gif

just curious, isn't working in audit firm usually we are required to stay outstation depending on the client's location? I think it is not sufficient for you to travel daily in my opinion.

I am not from audit firm, just curious.

Allowance RM 800? that's great, considering add together with the basic salary means easily can hit 3k for a fresh grad?

when going outstation, how about transportation? we use our own or there is company car to use? newbie here, interested to apply into audit firm so want to learn more notworthy.gif

It really depends.
Based on time to get there and location / distance.
I got lots of colleagues driving back and forth to Port Klang, Bangi and KLIA area. Distance quite far but they love the allowance and less jam. Knowing auditors, they probably speed at least 150km on the highway.

some even travel from Bangi? it must be tiring for them too, especially when they work until midnight then have to drive all the way back to Bangi.

just tumpang ask a bit, this firms are they hiring based like those college intakes which occured only X times a year or we can still apply for job application any time?

hi guys,

just want to ask about registration for KPMG: Their website states that we need to include a scanned copy of our academic transcript together with the resume in one file. So does it means that we need to put it in the same Microsoft Word file with the resume? sry kinda noob here.

Sorry i'm at work - if I remember correctly, the website accepts PDF?

Nevertheless, my advice is, if they ask for it, give it to them, Open your transcript (scanned) and "print screen"
then paste the image at the end of your resume

Hope this helps

thanks for the info, james. will scan into a PDF file. nod.gif
