yup.. my fren already "survey" the market pay offered by small firms.. the most that he can get is RM1.6k only..

as im not confident to pass all my papers in June 2008, i have changed my mind to work in small or medium firm first.. rather than working in Big4..

dun have confident that i can go into p.. i heard that P is very strict in their requirements.. in terms of education results and so on.. hehe.. duno whether true anot la..lolz

if you talk about this.. non-big4s have more future (in the long term) than Big4s....

I got called up by pwc 2-3 weeks ago.. i think it was a week after the final assessment date for the march intake, they told me only june was open hiring and that march was full. But either way, they are asking for interviews this month (if u got accepted, u shud be called up or notified about 1-2 weeks ago for an interview this month). But i'm not waiting for june though, that's 2 long to wait.

I know the audit department in pwc is hard to get in though, even if u do get accepted initially for interview doesn't mean you'll get selected cuz there are 100's of applicants. So the early bird catches the worm.. apply fast.. and this will increase your chances to even get into the assessment stage.

LOL.. i think... RM2400 as starting pay is adequate.
But better not get ur hopes up for march intake. Especially not feb. LOL. No one hires in Feb.
