i just want to enquire regarding the workload between audit and tax..between this 2,which is the most time that will be spend on.. im kinda consider both this two since they said that fresh entry they sometimes not encouraged to join in the corp.advisory department yet..and is the salary range equal between tax and audit?is the audit requires extensively travelling compare to tax?btw, since i dont have any knowlege in tax, (few during my tax paper, but kinda forget already since its been 2 years already passed in my acca exam)can i apply for the position? i want to find a position that maybe stay in the office, less travelling coz i still left with 1 acca paper..so dont wanna skip class

i understand that EY has two main offices, one at the menara millenium(audit, tax) and jalan sultan ismail for transaction advisory(is it?). so,if i accept the main office at menara millenium,is there any transport to go there or any convenient per entry parking fee ,coz if im driving,i think its difficult to get parking there with per entry fare..

QUOTE(kevinleng @ Jul 28 2008, 01:17 AM) SJGT is not unpopular. Its just not in the Big 4. As you can see the title of the thread its "Big 4 recruitment drive". SJGT is a medium sized audit firm and thus does not fall under the category of Big 4. thot so,yet, people are discussing BDO here which out of the big 4 also..but i seldom heard grads working here..This post has been edited by HBK-reloaded: Jul 28 2008, 05:42 AM |

QUOTE(cktwai @ Jul 28 2008, 09:15 AM) dude.. BDO is no where near DKC (not even 30%) yet but it's picking up fast wonder if Grant thornton and BDO will merge..and possibly will surpass the big 4 depending on which dept you refer to as well. Don't forget DKC has a strong Tax dept. On sub-division of DKC's tax dept is already whole of DKC's audit revenue... |

lil bit question here, out of the big4..
Is Mazars (5th largest acctg firm in Europe. based in France) in Malaysia is still the same environment as Moores rowland?(in terms of working culture, Equipment, Methodologies)or mazars has taken over and introduce their own approach of running the firm.. if the environment, management operations is still as moores rowland..then nothing change except the name only.. |
