They announced that there won't be a story mode way before the game even launched. They were upfront about it, made it clear that gameplay mechanics above all else.

Story mode will come in June or so, but hopefully not for a high price. I'd say $10 is a good deal, but knowing cashcom...

Fun fact; many of the 2D art, concept work, costumes and 3D modeling of objects + environments is done in Malaysia by Streamline studios. Have friends who work there and they're proud plebs now.


PS4 is pretty much slowdown free, except during close-ups (of which has nothing to do with gameplay). I'm playing on PC and can hold 60fps with zero problems, so the slowdowns are not a concern to me.
