I am not sure where they are being hosted but they will continue to be hit if they continue to host their site in the US. I believe more and more sites hosted in the US will get hit by the US anti-piracy organisations. shocking.gif

RIP to tehparadox.

Yes, *d!b* is correct. Tehparadox is back online now.

x264-bb is not my preferred site to go eventhough I joined in May 2010... because this site wants members to pay $$$ to see links to a lot of good stuff AND they will hide any posted links from filehost that they don't like.... Example: RisePlanetApes1080-aykutucu.part1.rar on *banned*banned*banned*banned*banned*banned*banned.com

And yes, Cardman is in x264-bb.

Tehparadox is much much more better.

Of course, if Tehparadox died then some people will have to choose x264-bb.

Actually there are other places if you use a lot of time to search the world wide web.

Here's one... warezusa.us which don't have much latest good "stuff" but at least they don't ask for $$$ to join as donators to see hidden links.

So, there is no right or wrong in choosing whatever methods to use to get the "goods", as each one of us have our own reasons. Bit-torrent is just one of the various ways we can use to get the "stuff". I didn't choose torrent because of the "old stuff" which are many many gigabytes in size ranging from 5GB to 49GB which will take me a very very very long time on torrent (with insufficient seeds to speed up the downloads)... and slows down my computer considerably for other tasks by constant torrent uploads and downloads at the same time. Well, of course there is nothing wrong in choosing torrent as it remains popular till today which proves that there are valid reasons for its choice.

Please take note that this thread is regarding 'Research' website only.
Do not discuss other *ahem* stuff.

Later everyone get Ban Hammer
*
You are being ridiculous. blush.gif

You started this thread with content on the first page ... "I cant access to tehparadox.com to do "research""

Discussing this site already is about *ahem* stuff matters. The whole tehparadox site IS about *ahem* stuff downloads which is why the "folks" in MPAA have forced ISPs to mark this site as banned! One of them, Verizon ISP have done it.

There is no difference between discussing "about" *ahem* stuff from tehparadox and other similar sites. Other similar sites are merely "alternatives".

Why is it ridiculous ? Example... A person sells a *ahem* DVD movie with a cover showing a picture of an unbranded mobile phone and a sentence which states "Research on the usage of mobile phones". Another person comes in and sells the same *ahem* movie but with the actual cover of the movie... and he was told by the first person... "Please don't show the actual cover because you may get caught!". Everyone knows that if we go to tehparadox site to check will definitely know what this whole thread is all about AND then this entire thread can get removed !!

But I do agree with you that we need to be a bit low key, low profile when discussing *ahem* stuff which seemed as though people are encouraging downloading *ahem* stuff... so I am sorry if I had been too "openly" discussing it.

You fear that we may get banned.

Discussing about SITES with *ahem* stuff is not illegal. Doing it IS illegal. As an example, if you go to torrentfreak.com which publishes lots of material about news on *ahem* sites which breaks the law such as the infamous "Pirate Bay" so torrentfreak.com IS NOT doing something illegal as they do not possess or store or distribute or duplicate or reconvert or make available for others to download any *ahem* stuff, they just reported news on such sites.

A fair warning is indeed needed here ... Any action by anyone to possess or store or distribute or duplicate or reconvert or make available (including making available for downloads) any copyrighted materials may give rise to copyright infringement and be liable for prosecution which, if convicted, the punishment is a fine and/or jail term.

For more info on the Malaysian Copyright infringement penalties, please go to...

... Take note that the info stated there has not been verified for accuracy.

Regards. smile.gif

ADDITIONAL NOTE
Folks, please do not describe the actual full methods on how to get the *ahem* stuff from Tehparadox and similar sites because we should not be seen as encouraging such activities to get illegal *ahem* stuff. Of course, at this point in time, no one has described such details yet.
