My company almost entire backend is in Python. Since it is backend, we have been quite slow adopting py3. Even so we are still on 2.5 (debian stable default). From statistic analysis, automation to daily 100millions+ 'transaction'... all in python. And 2.5 leak memory in subprocess module so need workaround. People up there reluctant to even go 2.6 as it solved the leak issue.
