QUOTE(marfccy @ Dec 3 2014, 01:00 AM) eh bruh mind if i ask for a small favor? Telegram group go need help in testing how does HT or more powerful processor helps in video playback when lots of add-ons are added in as at this moment, my CPU is 90-100% when i play videos if not free also nvm You just want me to run a video? I tried on youtube only 4-5 % of cpu usage. On VLC, only 1%-3% of cpu usage. This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 3 2014, 01:25 AM |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Dec 3 2014, 03:19 AM) nah as in using my current setup method So i have installed them.. I just have to watch some videos from that player right? im using this atm + SVP http://haruhichan.com/forum/showthread.php...waii-Codec-Pack SVP is a software that forces frame interpolation on media players, which force videos to run at 'fake' 60FPS http://www.svp-team.com/ example of a forced 60FPS video this one NSFW, so open at own risk » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Tell me how I can force this and get what results that you wanted. lol This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 3 2014, 03:25 PM |

marfccy Hai bro. I've tested with the best settings.
My CPU usage only 10-11%. Ram usage around 4gb. But thanks bro.. I can now watch things like everything 60FPS! Woot! Thanks a lot. This is great. But i'm gonna miss my XBMC This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 3 2014, 06:00 PM |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Dec 3 2014, 10:40 PM) if you follow the guide, the OP there can give an all rounder preset Guess I need to explore more.. then.. Well when I have the time I suppose. At least needs to be more than half the CPU usage, i will be satisfied..im still attempting to find my acceptable preset so far all my preset that works well with anime does not work well with movies This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 3 2014, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(drpsyko @ Dec 4 2014, 09:10 AM) Eh minimal usage doesn't mean not a good setup. It just distribute the load evenly across all cores. I'm also experiencing ~11% load on my i7-980x with max setting. Previously I used Splash Pro with same tech also like that. Just ramp it all to the max and enjoy the show. Also with more powerful proc, can even fast seek even SVP is on. Thanks for the tip.QUOTE(cracksys @ Dec 4 2014, 09:13 AM) so, you're actually aiming for 100% usage instead of the video quality that you'll enjoy? Aiming for more usage to utilize the cpu :3i suggest OCCT. If there is any better stuff This post has been edited by Rei7: Dec 4 2014, 09:59 AM |
