QUOTE(ameliorate @ Nov 21 2016, 11:54 PM) Hotspot or not....you decide for yourself. This location is in between the country's main airport and main shipping port. Near the country main manufacturing and industrial hub and main technology outsourcing hub. Near Subang, USJ, Klang South, Shah Alam, KK , Putra Heights, Puchong, PJ => lots of market potential for home upgraders seeking newer, bigger, greener, nicer and more updated home. Accessibility will be superb. KESAS, ELITE, SKVE, LKSA, WCE. In my opinion, if they really want to attract the millennial-minded homeseekers to this location....then they will need to connect this location with public transport e.g. LRT, MRT. Maybe that could be in the plan in the far far distance future LOL Anyway, by having Gamuda here ....it will raise the profile of Canal city to the next level. Hope they bring some of the new concepts and experience that they learned from developing Horizon Hills, Jade Hills etc to Canal City http://www.theedgeproperty.com.my/content/...ing-value-lasts This post has been edited by willyboy88: Nov 22 2016, 09:51 AM |

IJM + Tropicanna + Eco World + Gamuda = Canal City
Definitely the next hot spot but my guess it will take 8- 10 years to mature. This post has been edited by OperaGhost: Nov 22 2016, 09:48 AM |

QUOTE(occ2013 @ Nov 22 2016, 12:10 AM) Everyone has their own preference or judgement of LH vs FH.You have to decide what is best for yourself. Some of the people I know makes a lot of money by putting their money in LH places like Kota Damansara and Bandar Sunway. I personally missed some good opportunities because I was stuck up and decided not to buy some LH project last time. I wished I have bought those now. So everyone experience is different for LH/FH. For me nowadays... location potential, accessibility, price and concept are more important factors vs LH/FH. |

QUOTE(willyboy88 @ Nov 22 2016, 10:06 AM) Yes. Definitely have to have those 'wait until neck also long' type of patience for this location LOL I think next 5 years can see a major change.Currently more and more family move in to Rimbayu. they are mainly home upgraders from nearby township where mostly freehold move to leasehold. |

Most important is the result. Will this canal city grow in the next 10 years? Regardless of whatever shortcoming. It can be next to cemetary but if it sells, that's all that matters.

QUOTE(mingyew @ Nov 22 2016, 10:25 AM) I think next 5 years can see a major change. Yes. I agree next 5 years should see some major changes here.Currently more and more family move in to Rimbayu. they are mainly home upgraders from nearby township where mostly freehold move to leasehold. Most people cannot see this yet as this whole area is mostly under construction. By that time, Tropicana Aman phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 and Eco Santuari phase 1, 2 and 3 should have handed over to buyers. The huge 85 acres central park, lakes and canal which is the biggest among Klang Valley township must be done by then also. WCE should be done by then and it will improve Canal city accessibility. The International schools at TA and BR should be up and running. Perhaps the chinese school and kebangsaan schools are half way under constructions or up and running too. The commercials areas/shop lots by TA, ES and BR will be done also. Perhaps the lack of alcohol restriction in Canal city could pull the nightly happy hours crowd from Shah Alam, KK to Canal city hehehe The Gamuda 257 and Bandar Rimbayu waterfront areas could be under constructions by that time. Yes. I agree. Canal city attract a lot of home upgraders from its surrounding areas. I am glad to see so many owners bought for own stay from the feedback on the Tropicana Aman facebook group. I also notice that most buyers are Chinese when I survey the buyer profiles of TA. (I am not racist). That is probably due to Canal city is nearby areas heavily populated by Chinese e.g. Klang, Jenjarom, Banting, PJ, KK, USJ, Subang etc. |

Don't wanna sound like 自己讲自己爽 but everything seems to be going on the right direction for Canal City. Actually it's a big plus point that Canal City is not under SA. Night life with booze will be happening to attract the crowd from this site of the town 😎Most people cannot see this yet as this whole area is mostly under construction. QUOTE(DS4 @ Nov 22 2016, 05:51 PM) Yes. So far Majlis Perbandaran Sepang doesn't have too many restriction in compare with Shah Alam council... I believe this area is under Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat instead of Majlis Perbandaran Sepang. But I guess either is not as strict as MBSA when it comes to restrictions of alcohol and "watering holes" |
