Hi guys as most malaysian gamers are aware X360 has pirated consoles whose games are made by the company called Playbox. And most Malaysians are pirate gamers so nothing to be ashamed about there

So I'm thinking of getting an original Xbox One but was wondering if I should hold off on it in case Playbox release games for X1 sometime in the distant future.

I understand I would be missing alot by buying pirated games only but I am also an XBL gamer as well. My strategy is I only buy original games that come with multiplayer while I buy pirated games with singleplayer only. (As for online detection I just unplugged my ethernet cable whenever I insert a pirated game)

This is because I find it a huge waste to spend RM200 on a singleplayer game that will last probably a week before I finish the story. On the other hand multiplayer games are worth every penny because you can meet people and do all sorts of things.

So what do you think? Will there be a pirated X1 system? Should I get a X1 now or wait?

Let me correct a few things for you, Yes we are aware of Xbox 360 "Modded" Consoles & games are not made by a company called Playbox. They would have used "Xbox" if they aren't afraid of being sued & yes they duplicate/clone Xbox games.

Your mentality is what makes Malaysian sounds bad to others, you should be ashamed of your self for saying you are not ashamed. Do not spend on entertainment/gaming if you think that's a "huge waste", do it only when you have the luxury to do so, this is premium entertainment we are talking about.

We will all welcome you if you jump on the original bandwagon, sorry if you are not. Because by the forum rules we do not discuss/support modded consoles, you will have to find other places for fellow pirates to discuss your strategy.

even its singleplayer game, at least buy original or 2nd hand.

This is one of good example we Malaysia do not have official xbox one but our neighbours Singapore have the official set such a shame. Hope u can change ur mindset of playing piracy game. Everyone here buying original game with their hard earned money too.

If you are not willing to spend your hard earn money on paying full amount of the games, you can always wait for sales. During last Black Friday, many games were on sales. For example, Wolfenstein were on sale at 50% off at USD29.99 (MYR103.50) which is good of value in my view.
