Hello moderators/organizers,

There are so many phone models out there and more yet sure to come. It's difficult to scan threads under "Phone Specific" and it is not nearly specific. How about sub-dividing by a few major brands, maybe 5 or 10, which seems to be the trend on other forums?

if it is a must,i think TAGS would be more than good enough..

I'll request for tags to be put there. Can you guys list out some major brands. The ones I can think of are:

Nokia
Sony-Ericsson
Motorola
LG
Samsung
...

Yup, TAGs would be more easier to browse the specific brands...

Major brand - Nokia, SonyEricsson, Samsung, Motorola, LG, HP, Dopod, Sagem, O2, Alcatel, etc...

Not so popular brand - Asus, Mitac, Palm, Dell, Acer, Eten, Lenovo, Xcute, VK, Philips, Panasonic, Innostream, I-mobile, M-Mobile, Minimo, I-care, Bird, AK, Amoi, BEnQ, Siemens, etc...

maybe having subforums for mobile phones and accessories? that might at least clear it up between which are actual phone sale threads, and add-on threads.

nokia, SE, Samsung, LG, motorola

those seem to be the most laku threads.

Well, subforum can be very useful personally.For those who wish to see specific brand phone, they do need need to go through many pages of info in the phone specific section.Tags can be implemented but it is almost the same as all of them would be piled together in a single category.So in the end, it will be quite hard for those who only wanted to see specific category though..Anyway, this is all just my oppinion..

What's wrong with using the Search function?
Search --> Titles only --> Motorola

If you're purposely checking a Motorola sub-forum for instance, you already know you're looking for a Moto
So you could easily do a search too

You can filter tags actually. Look towards the bottom-right, below the "New Topic" button.

You can even do something like "show motorola and nokia topics only" with the tagging.. so it's actually a step up from subforums, for closely-related topics.

i like this idea.. sumthing like press 1 button to view all Motorola phones only.. press another to view Nokia phones only.. no need to browse through many pages to find for the specific thread..

Tags have been added, and topics mass-tagged.
