Reading this thread brings back memories when I eas hunting down my 5s end of 2013. Was hopeless in December and I just dropped by maxis KLCC on 15th December just to prove my wife that maxis is useless with their stocks only to be proven wrong. Snapped up on the spot my 32gb and left klcc a happy customer that day. All the best to everyone hunting for their 6 / 6+. I will enter the hunt again end of this year when my contract ends. Perhaps 6S+ by then? Hehehe

Funny thing is i called Maxis on this and they said any contracts with 4 months or less can get new iphone without any penalties as the contract will be cancelled and a new contract will come into place when we purchase the new phone. The CS didnt say anything about extensions to current contract, it was a straightforward cancel current and get a new contract.

Hahaha this waiting for the best iphone will last forever.. every year will have a better model.. i guess will have one eye on the next model as my contract will be penalty free from September onwards, just in time for the next announcement...

Yup, of coz, same pattern every year, forsee the same iphone hunting in december every year, unless maxis comes up with a good rebate for trade-ins like they did for the 5S towards the end of the shell life, for me, the 6 Plus is already a very very good phone. If the price is right towards the end of the year, might even be swayed towards the 128GB model

Was at the Seremban Maxis center earlier today, they have the 6+ 64gb space grey, so if anyone hunting for it got pass by seremban, there are a few units in stock.

Sorry, i didnt ask about the 6..

Seremban branch still have limited stocks of 6 but only 16gb model, in other words, don't ever bother.

I guess the lower starting price is the main attraction to a lot of people. I'm glad I chose the 6 plus, perfect for me.

Hopefully everyone will find their units before April as items such as mobile phones and tablets will be more expensive.

Very surprised to read about the whole "terms and conditions" happening across maxis dealers.. i got mine from seremban maxis center, no problems whatsoever, dont have any "have to sign up iValue 2" or "have to sign up maxis one plan" sort of crap.. and no compulsory purchase of insurance and accessories... maxis needs to seriously look into this... shameful from the dealers

True, I have not seen a single place offering 128GB version. Will post here if I come across it. Hope everyone here gets their 6 or 6 plus before CNY.

Hahaha, even 64GB model is elusive... i got mine on a saturday as well as the 64GB was selling fast and i didnt want to take the risk of more waiting, no chance getting time off or leave from work on weekday.. not placing much hope either on the MBB cash back promotion... if get, consider as good luck bonus

Called maybank today and they said the full list of cc users who got the rebate will be announced on their website end of this month.

Still shaking my head in disbelieve there is still a stock shortage.. Goodness....
