Hi guys, planning to get an Iphone6 from Maxis.

Something I want to ask:
Currently I'm on Maxis SurfMore 50 plan, and every month my bill amount will be roughly around RM60++ - 70++.

Mostly I'm using data services, not so active in making calls.

Which plan is recommended for me to sign up? I notice the iValue 1(RM100), with the same amount of data allocated(2GB), plus with some talktimes and SMS, is it worth it?

And also, The Gardens Maxis Centre do have stock? (Iphone 6 64GB gold)

Same here. I was on Surfmore 50 with average bill about RM70 or so and now I'm on iValue 1. I think it's probably the cheapest plan if you need 2GB of data monthly. iValue Simple only has 1GB of data and that tends to run out quickly, plus no significant savings in device price for iValue Simple. Just sign for a year and switch back to Surfmore after your contract ends.

Thanks for the suggestion. thumbup.gif

Another question:
Is it possible that the Advance Payment being waived? I think I saw somewhere someone saying that the Advance Payment is being waived, subject to previous clean record, on time payment, etc..

Is it true?

blink.gif so it can be waived.

Do I need to request from them? Or they will offer/tell me that Advance Payment will be waived.

thumbup.gif Thanks for the info.

It's been quite awhile since Iphone 6 and 6 plus launched, will they have ready stock at Maxis Centre? Or still need to try my luck? (As I can see from previous posts, it's like treasure hunting here and there, got money also cannot get 1.) sweat.gif

I think it's fairly easier now to get one but depends also on what specific capacity and color you want

Just came back from The Gardens Maxis Centre. They just left all 16GB model. The others will just restock either Wed or Fri, based on the guy over there. And ask me to call 123 to ask whether have stock already or not before go over again.

Haiz, seems like Maxis are having so so limited stock.

I'm quite worry to buy online. What if there are faulty, what if there are many more problem. LOL. (I'm those kind of person who will think too much.)

Still prefer to buy on the spot, open the package and check to make sure everything ok before leaving the shop. LOL.

You may want to get one before maxis adjust their prices in accordance to the iPhone price increase last night.

thumbup.gif thanks for the info.

I went to Maxis Centre last night, checked and my Advance Payment can be waived. biggrin.gif

Already planning to sign up the plan if they have stock, but too bad, no more stock available. Will try to call 123 and check with them again before go over to the centre.
