Just clarified with Maxis and the standard warranty for i6 is merely 1 year irregardless of contract duration.

Yes, that is the standard manufacturer's warranty for most devices. maxis is not the one providing the warranty, Apple is.

If not mistaken old devises like iPhone 4 they do cover two years warranty with two years contract.

applied for One 128 plan few days ago, not sure if Maxis coverage sucks in my area or ip6+ problem, but line signal always shifting from 3/4 to 1 bar even when I'm sitting at the same place for some time.

Don't think they will if it's been more than few days. They'll probably ask you to go to an authorized service center
*
authorised service centre in Malaysia wont entertain telco set.

If that is true does Apple expect telcos to repair faulty iPhones?
*
I tried before, the authorised service centre will enter your serial number into their system and it will show telco name. They asked me to go back to telco and they will check and send to apple for service on our behalf.

assume i sign up for iphone 7 24 months, if i terminate after one year, how much i need to pay? I called 123, but they are not sure.
I know for digi 48,98, the penalty is RM200 fixed
*
Applicable early-termination charges are set out below:
For 12 months contract: You agree that Maxis has the right to impose an early termination charge you are responsible to pay for if you terminate your 12-month contract before its expiry. The early termination charge is calculated based on [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – Upfront Cost) x (Remaining month(s) ÷ 12 months)] + RM 100 administration fee.
For 24 months contract: You agree that Maxis has the right to impose an early termination charge you are responsible to pay for if you terminate your 24-month contract before its expiry. The early termination charge is calculated based on [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – Upfront Cost) x (Remaining month(s) ÷ 24 months)] + RM 100 administration fee.
