Yes,
I don't understand why Maxis allow this happen, it just like daylight robbery.. I wondering it happen in Digi or Celcom or not? One more thing is the iphone is available in apple malaysia store in 1 business day but not available in Maxis? What kind of of telco? 😡
*
Are they trying to make it limited? hard to find..only available at Apple store. If apple store have 64gb stocks, aren't they supposed to have it too?

I called and log a complain as certain dealer shops have ready stock but will only sell device at retail price and not allowing ivalue plan.
The support person say maxis can only control the maxis centres and not authorized dealers.
Sounds rubbish that these shop also carries big maxis signboard.
My friend just got iphone 6 64gb walk in at digi sunway.
I'm evaluating to get celcom or digi.. Enough of this crap from maxis.

Yes, these are the dealers playing games. All maxis does is apologize on their behalf and no action taken. In other threads, we have some complaints that Celcom dealers insist you buy their accessories. DiGi so far I haven't read anything yet.

Hopefully everyone will find their units before April as items such as mobile phones and tablets will be more expensive.

Yup, GST will be imposed on smart phones and tablets as they currently have 0 sales tax.

Not sure bro. I don't have the luxury of choosing other telcos coz my house area only maxis has adequate coverage.

Went to Queensbay too yesterday and no stock.

Gurney Plaza giving me bullshit.
They guy said has 1 unit left, and said must sign RM158 plan.
I was like wtf then ask why, he just said temporary can't do other iValue plan.

Friend said Sunway Carnival Maxis even funnier.
No ready stock, but if want now, have to pay extra RM200.  doh.gif

The funny part is Sunway Carnival is not Maxis dealer but the Maxic Center.
Heard they use the tactic saying there is no stock on hand but the got the unit from Switch. Hence, they need to charge additional RM200.

Sunway Carnival is a dealer. The authorized maxis centers in Penang are Queensbay Mall and I-Center. On the mainland is Perai and AEON Bukit Mertajam.

Am surprised to see this thread still moving. Some guys still haven't got their phones yet but I see many brand new Maxis Iphone 6 sets on sale at the marketplace. I suggest you guys just head on to bigger Maxis Centres like KLCC, Sunway Pyramic or Taman Tun to get hold of your phones.

In the past couple of weeks it seems our friends up north are the ones still hunting for the 64GB ones. I also noticed that the 6 seems harder to come by than the 6 Plus.

Went to Gurney Plaza again today.
1. Walk in and ask got stock for 6+ 64GB or not.
2. The sales girl "checked" the cabinet, and said got 2 units left, both Space Grey.
3. Sales girl said only able to do RM158 plan.
4. I asked whether they can do iValue or not cause I'm existing user, and want 2 units.
5. Asked for my numbers, and check via system.
6. Then started to said okay "can do", but you must buy a bundle package together.
7. The "bundle package" consist of 1 year 1 to 1 exchange include screen crack and masuk water, RM200, and 1 tempered glass, and 1 casing, another RM200. Total RM400.
8. *Buat muka confuse* And told the sales girl thanks will consider it.
9. After 20 minutes masuk again, and negotiate with the sales girl that only take the RM200 additional warranty, but not the RM200 tempered glass and casing bundle.
10. Been told to sit and make phone calls, for like 15 minutes.
11. Sales girl said "boss say okay can only take the warranty, but must buy at least 1 accessory from the shop"
12. In the end paid another RM80 for a tempered glass.

iValue 100(24 months) x 2
Phone price RM2,229 x 2
Upfront RM600 waived cause existing iValue user
Additional warranty price RM200 x 2
Tempered glass price RM80 x 1

Total paid:
Phone #1 price: RM2,509
Phone #2 price: RM2,429
