Already so much better than last year - whether or not it's due to less demand or due to you guys have stocked up more this round, the whole purchasing experience was so smooth. I was in and out of Pyramid branch in 15 minutes with a new 6S Plus. Kudos to your team bro!

When will your new contract end? Did they waive ur prev contract?

My contract was till 10 Jan 2016. Yep, they ended the contract and let me start a new one, no penalties.
*
Ok, this is good. I like buying with 0% epp and no penalty fee. Plus, I get to claim some cash back from company.

Nice!
I paid cash this round coz of the money I got from selling my old phone smile.gif

You got a good deal there. biggrin.gif

Honestly, I prefer surfmore 50 than this Isimple value.

I was on iValue 1 but this round I went with maxis One plan 128 for 3GB of data. 2GB was cutting it too close for me coz sometimes when I travel for work, the hotel's WiFi is too unreliable for me to get any work done...

If you can claim the monthly bill, then it's a good deal.

I prefer cheap since it's my personal line. smile.gif

Ya, I can claim up to 150 a month. Though no phone buying benefits like you though smile.gif

It's the same lar. My company gives Celcom line all paid for with no claim.

Congrats. Fancy seeing you here than the axia thread. laugh.gif

Have maxis dealers started selling? I enquired a dealer on Thursday; they said no info yet.

I also checked with a dealer near my place yesterday and he said they haven't received any allocation from maxis. He did try to persuade me to sign up for a Note 5 though  biggrin.gif

Haha, that's what I thought. The dealer seemed clueless when I asked.

Hmm. I just converted to surfmore 50 after my iPhone plan ended. It was such a quick and smooth change.

Other providers seems better. But so far, maxis coverage works well for me at home and work. I'm afraid to try other telco.

Yes, same here. My cousin just switched from Maxis to U Mobile (the RM70 plan for 7GB data one) and she's complaining that she got ripped off coz although in the coverage map it showed that her house area has 4G in reality she is now only getting 3G.

I guess in the end we get what we pay for smile.gif

Umobile coverage is just ok around this area. I have the prepaid version. Cheap but not necessarily reliable. Some area the speed is crawling but with my maxis, it's great.

But lately, I noticed Maxis dropping to 3G frequently. I also noticed when my unifi is intermittently down, then Maxis is also down to 3G and starts crawling. Happens quite often esp the last few weeks. Are they linked (leasing the lines, etc)?

Yes, I noticed the maxis 4G dropping to 3G every now and then but so far I've not had problems with my unifi. Could it be the area? I live in Klang and so far no issues smile.gif
*
Yeah, could be. It was bad last night. Both unifi and maxis. shakehead.gif

Maxis just called me to offer a similar plan - 5gb, unlimited calls n sms. Price is $78 after lifetime rebate $20. Anyone got such a call? Is it legit?

I'm quite happy with my current surfmore $50 plan. So, told the person I would think about it.

Then I guess you must be one of the chosen ones! It's pretty much legit but if your monthly usage isn't that much then it's pointless. But it's a good deal, though I'm wondering why it's 78 when most others got offered it at 68.
*
I'm reading through the maxis forum thread. I'm also wondering why I got offered $78 with no contract. The person did say for selected customers only and I didn't attempt to port out. Oh well, I'm not as keen.
