Telco pricing still the same or they sync with Apple?

Of coz sync with Apple lor. Costs price increased by Apple and Telco will have to sell at the increased RRP.

I only know maxis price increased just two days after Apple revised their prices. Not sure if other telcos have followed suit.

Yes, the promo was till 8th February but the cashback only credited back to qualified buyers 8 weeks after promotion ends. So those who bought back then are only now checking if they managed to get the cashback or not

hey there guys. im planning to buy iphone 6+ from maxis store/centre.

this will be my first time buying from a telco, so i dont really understand the payment n, advance payment and the reimbursement thingy.

anyone willing to explain to me how the payment works?

how much exactly do i have to pay upfront at the store?

Assuming you have not been with maxis for more than a year and therefore your advance payment is not waived, then the amount you have to pay would be RM2,259 (Device purchase price) + RM512 (Upfront payment) = RM 2,771. The Upfront payment will be credited back to you in 4 months which means RM128 per month for the next 4 months, meaning if you don't exceed the monthly commitment of RM128 you would be paying nothing for the first 4 months, with the exception of service tax, of course. Also note that you can request for the device purchase price to be paid in 12 monthly instalments with 0% interest for certain credit cards.
