QUOTE(Brianjys @ Feb 18 2015, 01:21 AM) Hey guys , does anyone got water damage before for the iPhone ? does maxis replace your iPhone when you are under warranty? I drop my iPhone into the water and I quickly pick it up , it work for a while but now it does not past the apple start up logo. Pls help! I think for most phones the warranty doesn't cover water damage, unless it's a Sony Xperia Z series that's certified to be waterproof. Even if the phone is under warranty, maxis doesn't replace phones but asks the owner to go to nearest authorized service center.

Ya, if you're hardworking enough to track back few pages in the Official 6/6+ thread you will see that everyone is pretty much amazed by the 6 Plus battery life. Gong Xi Fatt Chai to you too! They used to, but before I sent mine to them back then I changed my water damage sensor pads at a shop. Try and get an opinion from one of the experts first if it's still the same... Shouldn't be much different, although the warranty claims might no longer be directly thru maxis

Thinking of getting a 5S, but I want 64GB. Am I shit out of luck? Do I have to buy second hand? I would prefer to get one with Maxis (since im already using maxis) to get one cheaper than the 1.7k one I have pending to be sold to me.

The 64GB variant of the 5S has been discontinued by Apple so getting a new set is almost impossible.if you're keen to get a phone from maxis, why don't you go with the iPhone 6? If you sign a 2 year contract on ivalue 1 (100 bucks a month) you can get the iPhone 6 64GB for RM1,8xx. Better than paying 1.7k for a 5S.

QUOTE(BigMan123 @ Feb 22 2015, 07:45 AM) Call maxis hotline and ask which branch has 128GB, that's more efficient, I guess.

Not sure it's the right place to ask, but I'll try my luck over here. Currently I'm using prepaid from Digi, I'm planning to change over to Maxis and get a iPhone 6 Plus. However, there's balance in my current Digi prepaid with the amount of RM120. Will the balance be burnt or able to carry forward to Maxis plan and deduct from over there? Thanks in advance.

The last time I ported my mum's DiGi prepaid line to maxis to be my sub line, the balance was burnt. Pretty sure it's the same now but you can always walk in to a maxis centre to confirm.

But that was last time based on my experience from porting over from Celcom to Maxis
