EFI .. the fuel injectors are located outside the engine head.. the intake manifold part, so the air travelling in will need to drag the fuel into the combussion chamber at the same time MIX it together.. hence the swivel effect is important .. putting a open pod will kill the mixture. on GDI engine... the fuel injectors are on top of the combusion chamber.. the air sucked in being compress only the fuel being spray .. thats why it can have higher compresion as u do not compress together with the fuel .. wont ignite until u spray it in thank you thank you. learn something new today
