Remind me of the last time I send for engine oil change...

7.30am - Masuk, register, handover key.
7.45am - Tech drive car to working area (Wah, thought can finish early, cancel my leave drool.gif )
7.50am - My car naik hai hai
8.00am - Tech open engine oil plug at bottom. After that tech hilang dunno go where
8.30am - Tech comes back, replug the engine oil plug, lap lap a bit, bring my car down, then hilang again. Replace the oil filter too sometime here.
9.15am - Tech comes back, open hood, start refilling engine oil. Hilang again with bottle still upside down at the engine oil inlet.
10.00am - Tech comes back, lap lap again, clean air filter. close hood. Hilang again.
11.00am - Tech drives car to waiting area, handover key to SC rep. Kena marah by boss.

LOL. This depends which SC lar.....like the one in Mutiara Damansara is like this. Worst Proton SC ever. I usually went to a small Proton SC in Taman Megah. Way better. They even call me when stocks arrived and help me to do advance claim for my service voucher...brows.gif.. Unlike the Mutiara SC, never call back about stocks availability.
*
isnt the one at mutiara damansara suppose to be the premier SC??

Yep, if your current SC is fine, just stick to it.

Btw, anyone car's here kena the recall? Maybe i will call later today to check.
*
they do servicing for both mitsu and plotong...somtimes i see storm here also hahaha tongue.gif

Mine is affected but according to the SC not all cars in the batch is affected. They told me they will check the part first to see if its really affected.

They told me if really affected, 1/2 a day can settle provided got parts.

it also depends how long you were driving your car before going to SC.
if engine heated up , engine oil also very hot
they have to wait until it cools down before opening the oil plug and draining it

but once all drained , it should be quite fast to fill it back up again

thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

I thought hot drain baru bagus cuz then all the slug can come out...

Anyway I drove it at most 10 mins nia, at speeds below 60 kph. the road to the sc is a kampung jalan sehala road sweat.gif doh.gif

You forgot 1 very importatn skill

Perk
+1 Luck - Hope for the best no new defect is introduced!

You didn't experienced aqua planning with your CC5? Even you drive through a small puddle of water, can feel aqua planning liao. You try and drive through some puddle next time and see.

If got budget go for Michelin PS3 for comfort tyres lor...tyres sudah turun rite? biggrin.gif  I cheapskate used CDrive2 only. 6 months or so i think. So far ok, good grip, less noise than CC5 (maybe still new).
*
Aquaplanning sure got... but I drove thru puddles of water until biasa d...Ive been driving with 2nd hand china brand tyres on my wira...that one aqua plane like flying paper plane lol. Compared to that, I feel that CC5 cuts thru puddles like tofu.

I want comfort/less noisy tyre. Don't really need performance....inspira is now my family car...

CD2 how much per biji now? PS3 here is like RM 500++ 1 biji sweat.gif

Just droppped my car off for service. According to the SC here, car belt replacement only start work at 3rd March. Now they will just key in your info into the monitoring list, then on that day they will call you if your part is really impacted. The fella showed me the email they received from Proton HQ too...

burn another RM 560 today...40k service cry.gif

Btw, anyone tried fixing baby car seat in back seat, but middle?

Sorry...my mistake...i meant Michelin P3ST. Always confused it with PS3. P3ST is for comfort. PS3 is for performance. I used Cdrive2 now, no more aqua planning, it's very different. Stay away from CC5, at least CDrive2 also ok if budget not allows.

Can tell what you change at 40k? Include CVT oil i suppose? If got CVT oil, ok lar. Engine oil + CVT oil already RM4xx rite?
*
Engine oil, oil filter, brake fluid, air filter + A/C servicing ( i add myself this one)

CVT oil i thought at 50k or 60k?

Engine oil=RM200?, Brake fluid=RM30?, Oil filter=RM30? Air Filter=(dunno)??

Aircond service expensive?

It is best you change your CVT oil every 40k or 2years, whichever comes first.

Btw, why fix baby seat in middle??? shocking.gif  Put it to the side lar. And remember to make it face backwards, not foward.
*
just wondering nia.. my baby seat now facing fwd liao...her legs too long sweat.gif

Will see the breakdown later, Im using normal air filter though...not the drop in filter.

Engine oil i tapao S3K ma...already > RM200 hahaha....
Eh, i forgot...i ask them do balancing and alignment with tyre rotation for me too...they told me1 hour can finish all these stuff....we'll see.......if really 1 hour finish then i shift to this SC liao.....when I left....got 4 mechanics working on my car already....

I guess A/C service around 150-180? I do outside for my wira also around same price.

Your kid how big? Your car seat can adjust right? If the kid is 1 year+, can straigten the baby car seat to a more straighter angle. Unless your kid < 1 year, then probably you still need to lay it horizontal.
*
17 months liao....im using diono radian rxt. the car seat cannot be in vertical configuration for rear facing...

her height around 88cm liddat the last time i measured in jan...
