Yep, if your current SC is fine, just stick to it.

Btw, anyone car's here kena the recall? Maybe i will call later today to check.
*
they do servicing for both mitsu and plotong...somtimes i see storm here also hahaha tongue.gif

Mine is affected but according to the SC not all cars in the batch is affected. They told me they will check the part first to see if its really affected.

They told me if really affected, 1/2 a day can settle provided got parts.

distilled water or coolant would be ideal... the radiator is fairly expensive so i wouldn't want to risk increased corrosion sweat.gif

Called We-Care they mentioned my chassis number is not selected for the recall.

Current cars that are recalled are up to #4300 only.

There goes my free parts replacement. sad.gif

Now I recall my old Iswara had issue. The radiator was fine, but the there was a small hose connecting to part of the engine area, that part was rusted and it broke off, water kept pouring out.

I see Sleed selling coolant RM68. Might get that. Maybe flush the radiator as well, almost 2 years ready.

Remind me of the last time I send for engine oil change...

7.30am - Masuk, register, handover key.
7.45am - Tech drive car to working area (Wah, thought can finish early, cancel my leave  drool.gif )
7.50am - My car naik hai hai
8.00am - Tech open engine oil plug at bottom. After that tech hilang dunno go where
8.30am - Tech comes back, replug the engine oil plug, lap lap a bit, bring my car down, then hilang again. Replace the oil filter too sometime here.
9.15am - Tech comes back, open hood, start refilling engine oil. Hilang again with bottle still upside down at the engine oil inlet.
10.00am - Tech comes back, lap lap again, clean air filter. close hood. Hilang again.
11.00am - Tech drives car to waiting area, handover key to SC rep. Kena marah by boss.
11.30am - I get back my key  blink.gif  yawn.gif

it also depends how long you were driving your car before going to SC.
if engine heated up , engine oil also very hot
they have to wait until it cools down before opening the oil plug and draining it

but once all drained , it should be quite fast to fill it back up again

lol i go sc requested for coolant replacement, all they did was suck out some with those air operated containers (like air guns for tires etc, cept reversed) and then pour in 1 bottle and call it a day. lolwut?
well, at least the cost wasnt expensive, rm31

will probably just drain/fill up with distilled water outside when i am free/done with my iswara/kancil maintenance lol.

engine oil is best drained when it's hot; workers may consider wearing insulated gloves and what not which most Malaysians don't bother anyways, especially the outside workshops as it seems like they got heat/fire resistant +100 or something on their hands/skin
