My card is also still new (< 10 mnths), but I'm not about to take a chance with those dbkl machines haha!

Besides the dormant issue, I understand each card also have expiry date (wtf)

Can we check the expiry date by registering card in TnG portal, and/or by using kiosks ?

It is already pointed out in faq, but yeah maybe they can emphasize the font or something

For RM10, they couldn't put some basic design on the card or even a big 'NFC' letter there. Instead left it as ugly all-white there

Only the NFC function died, or completely died(cannot tap at toll/parking/etc) ?

This way, it's free of charge right? No need to pay RM10 for the NFC

I wonder why they can't/won't make it like CC, need register + activation at TnG portal , then only can start using.

About the new NFC cards with plain white design, has anyone placed a sticker label on it (or write on it with Sharpie pen or similar) and have the card still working fine?

Kinda stupid they can't verify our identity (Mykad fingerprint??) on the spot, when we're already physically present there.

I got an old registered co-branded (PlusMiles 1Malaysia) Tng card, expires this Saturday. Next week going to Nu sentral to try getting a free replacement, with balance transferred over.

Hopefully co-branded ones have no issues for free replacement.

Went Nu Sentral today, no more free replacement for expired cards . When questioned, the staff claimed that's the process since end-Jan 2025. Had to fork out RM10 for the new card.

Another thing - for lost cards, if u do e-refund from portal and it gets rejected, a police report is required (along with other KYC stuff i assume) when u submit appeal to cust service.
