Smart tag is also designed for in car usage. Automotive grade electronics temperature spec is -40'C to +85'C
And they designed so that you can hook it on your windscreen, directly under Malaysian hot sun.

I guess everyone that has a smart tag knows how lousy the smart tag reliability is, especially the LCD.

Sometimes it still makes sense to use parking ticket.
Such as some shopping malls that have slow/jammed exit.

Let say you need to get everything done within 1 hour, just pay at autopay within 1 hour and get extension which is usually 15 minutes.
With TNG card, should be no such extension.
