I wanted to buy back Doraemon card from TnG Hub, they said no more...

Last month my TnG card suddenly cannot be used anymore when I used it to reload... Then I went to TnG Hub KL Sentral and told me it has been blocked and I cannot use it anymore, so the officer helped me to fill in a form for refund.

Last week I received email telling me that my refund wasn't approved, so I called to check and the CS guy cannot tell me the reason at that point of the time and promised will call me back, he didn't.

Long story short, I called on Tuesday again to check the status and this time the CS guy told me it will be processed and I will get the refund this Thursday. He didn't tell me why I got the email earlier.

Anyway, I checked my bank account today and I got more than I expected. I remembered I only had RM 20.++ left and I just checked TnG Portal, I only had 26.64 in that inactive card but the refund I got was RM 75.44.

do u know the issues with physical tng card that has been piling up for decades?

the archaic infrastructure that is not suitable for online world?
tng has no intention to upgrade after decades of usage?
the security issues with fraud/clone cards?
the credit cannot be transferred/moved digitally? << that the credit sits inside the card, and not in the cloud backend
there is no kyc for those users holding tng cards?
