The value ($$$) are stored in the card itself. So, it require physical communication to transfer value to the card. The only way is to use NFC, but not many phone support it. Thats why even for the ewallet, they use QR code instead of NFC. (since most phones have camera and not NFC.)

I have a feeling that they may want to implement mechanism for physical TnG card:
1. Go to merchants or participating merchants with physical TnG card reload machine and at the same time also a merchant of TnG QR payment
2. User to transfer the amount from e-wallet from TnG App to the merchant wallet using QR Payment or Transfer method
3. Merchant to update the balance of physical TnG card based on the received transferred amount
What you guys think? Workable? In the pipeline?
Actually can do it via phone... (Andriod) phone. For example, this is NETS FlashPay app from Singapore. they allow to reload physical via CC using the app.1.
