In fact I didn't know paying with Watsons VIP TnG for purchases in Watsons can be entitled 5X member points until recently.

i had a similar experience - been parking outdoor in Brickfields using TnG for a while, sometimes the machine accepts TnG payment sometimes it doesnt (showing "kad tidak sah"). one day when i tried to enter Besraya toll my card cant be scanned, i had to reverse and get pass paying cash. ended up resetting my card at the toll plaza.

i didnt know the cause was the parking machine until i stumble upon some comments in the forum.

paying parking using coins in KL is a joke. countrysides are better off using coupons, at least they can be brought in bulk and use at your convenience.
