For mine, they transferred the amount from the old card over to the new card. Did mine at the Penang Bridge TnG office.

Yea, it's on the mainland side but you don't necessarily need to cross the bridge in order to access the office. Once you're exiting the office, you'll need to perform a big U-turn & then you can decide if you want to cross the bridge or not.

about the TouchnGo RFID, will penang user that has 20% discount for penang bridge still get the discount with this RFID?

Stupid PayDirect double-dipped on my toll twice.

On ewallet and my card balance. Luckily only RM5 in total. So I'm disabling it. Too mafan to claim refund.

I heard it happened to one of my mutuals on Twitter. Thought that she's just unlucky. She claimed refund cos it was more than RM50 for an airport trip.

I get angry thinking about how many others like me. The amount is too small for refund, but if thousands like me experience the same thing. It means that they just take your money like that through PayDirect.
In Malaysia monopoly creates incompetence.

remove the tng card

all these while can remove the tngcard from tngewallet.

if tng card is not linked, paydirect wont work. tngcard and tngewallet/rfid would work independently.

No, I specifically top up that rm50 into the ewallet to pay for parking. I was stuck at machine with few cars behind, which was so embarrassing when that boom gate could not open when I had a total almost rm80 in my tng and tng ewallet combined. Piss me off. Not going to support their ewallet after the he'll they put me through today.

Also just saw your updated post. No places in penang that I can use tng ewallet to top up tng card??
