my Watson's VIP card need to replace too. cannot use for payment. it will be rejected. asked Watson's, they will call customers for replacement, while transferring the credit over to new card.
ok here's the deal replacing watson's vip-tng card.
1) watson's will not call you. you must walk-in to watson's outlet to get a replacement card. the staff perviously i asked was given wrong info. below is the replacement pack...

2) the pack consists of a new card, manufacturing mm/yy of 09/16 (the one i'm getting), and RM10 watson e-voucher (for online portal, obviously).
3) replacement pack is FOC, for now, until May 2017. Staff told me there will be a fee to get newer card if replacement done after May 2017.
4) essentially, staff perform new card registration on their POS system. purpose is to automatically transfer watson's vip points from old -> new card, within 2 hours.
5) existing tng credit, must perform credit transfer at TNG hubs. refer above screenshot for location.
6) both cards are actually still valid for use. newer card (> jun 2014 manufacturing mm/yy) can do payment + toll/parking. older card (< jun 2014) can only do toll/parking, cannot do payment. this is annoying as i dont want to carry 2 tng cards for different purposes.
