For my experience,
I remembered that replacing a new TnG card at TnG Hub at Nu Sentral is FOC.

If it's damaged, it's not their obligation to change for you. Expired ones I changed for free but cannot be expired too long.
I have one lying in the house for more than 1 year, they don't allow me to change.

what is paydirect is? from what im understand. it works if ewallet have no money. it will take from tng right?

Sometimes it still makes sense to use parking ticket.
Such as some shopping malls that have slow/jammed exit.

Let say you need to get everything done within 1 hour, just pay at autopay within 1 hour and get extension which is usually 15 minutes.
With TNG card, should be no such extension.

TnG also able to get discount. Just that abit susah u need to go counter.

I remember when i was at IKEA returning faulty item, a guy came to the counter and ask for the free parking..
I think the counter gave him a parking card...not sure cannot remember d

Next time u can try. just need to go to the CS counter.

I do wish we can have another "competitor", just like in Singapore.  In Singapore, 1 Specification called Cepas, multiple Operator.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CEPAS .Ezlink and Nets Flashpay are using the same standard. Both can be topped up with Credit Card in MRT Station without any charges
