Ok guys so I recently sold my Xbox 360 which I owned for so many years and I loved that console for the online experience I had but recently since I moved to Malaysia I'm wondering if I buy an Xbox one will the online connection be bad since there aren't plenty of Xbox one users in Asia ( taking a guess). So my question is how is your online experience? Is it very laggy and unstable or can you find decent servers easily. I also owned a PS3 but I didn't enjoy the online experience and sold it within 6 months

I would say its not perfect but games like Racing/VS (SF4/KOF/Tekken) would very much depends on how good your connection is. Have to make sure you are on Open NAT, for best result use google DNS on the router, Other games like FPS/Action/RPG/puzzles should be smooth.

We are mostly paired with gamers from Asia, for best result is to play with local Malaysian (Add them as friend, start party game). For local games all genre is smooth.

I would say it's mostly down to your connection type. True, it's best if you have open NAT, but you can still get by with strict NAT. I'm on Maxis 10Mb. All things considered, I can get good online play with my buddies in Ireland. Or, if I join online races in Forza Horizon 2. Or playing Titanfall on Europe servers.

No worries I actually asked my buddy in Ireland to bring one home for me. Kinda expensive at that time, but I made up my mind to get only Xbox for this gen. Hope I can safely ignore PlayStation this time. It's getting expensive supporting multiple consoles haha.

Oh nice, it's kind of hard to find a good price console here with warranty. Haha true that I think I won't even bother with the ps4 unless the Xbox ones servers are horrible

But there is an issue with warranty here, you might have to send back to them to settle for you instead of direct to Microsoft. That's because Malaysia is not an official xbox live launch country, nearest is Singapore.

Yeah true but are these stores reliable with warranty issues? They look like the real deal

Not sure, so far not many ppl have send Xbox One for repair yet, unless its DOA. Most of us here bought it without worrying about the warranty, cross your finger & hope for the best

I bought mine US imported 1 year back, so far so good, its now out of warrant. If its dead ill probably buy a new unit lol
