QUOTE(Piccolo @ Apr 16 2015, 02:17 PM) The 13.9l/100km I got here was from Petronas. Giving BP a shot now. Thanks for the feedback. Anyone knows if EB has manual adjustable timing via the distributor? Or should I request retarding it at SC? Reason is the engine pinging (minor) when engine is under load. Same. Different brands will make a difference?

QUOTE(Piccolo @ Apr 17 2015, 09:27 AM) There are injection cars with distributors that's adjustable. Guess EB has one less part to worry about. Going to let it run with the different fuel for now. Maybe the knock sensor will sort itself out after that Been using BHP for 100Km. FC is better (vs Petronas) on first impression. ok i go pump BHP and test once my tank is empty

QUOTE(leolancer @ Apr 17 2015, 12:32 PM) Anyone here encountered a "ketonnggg" sound at d rear when going over a bump? I would be devastated if it's the absorber sound...no warranty on that if it's d absorber.... that's not normal?

QUOTE(alexei @ Jun 19 2015, 02:18 PM) The shop deals what brand? Google this brand cannot find its homepage. Some says it is by Silverstone. jemmiMichelin is slightly more expensive in Malaysia, compared to other major brands. Though I did spend RM320 a piece for Goodyear Assurance TripleMax. zstan My aircon was made worse by the SC aircon service. They added it when doing 20k service. Quite expensive, frankly. Remove the gas, took out the cooling coil to bilas2... put back, pump new gas, then aircon become not as cold as before. yealo i also feel a bit expensive. actually every service at the authorised SC also expensive but i was supervising the technician the whole time and then he showed me aircond become colder but i dont feel the difference. but i can see the coil damn a lot of dust good to clean also la

and apparently got one part in the turbo which is made out of plastic. this part is prone to bursting in msny exora cars which caused water to leak out and then engine over heat. so if u send for service they will replace it with a copper part now. well, at least my SC did that la.

QUOTE(alexei @ Jun 25 2015, 11:52 AM) No. It is just more expensive and higher performance. It does not translate to longer life. In other words, imagine u put 5 fishes in one tank, and 7 fishes in another tank... if any of the fish dies, means the tank fails... Not the best, but I hope you get the analogy. Although, I hope it will reduce the 'dimming' effect whenever aircon compressor switch on. We'll see. QUOTE(kuai_chai @ Jun 25 2015, 08:43 PM) hi guys.. im interested to know some info about exora.. what is the FC of it? according to the website guidelines, it mentioned 7.2L/100 km.. if true, then 1 full tank can travel about 600km.. which i doubt it.. So i believe asking owners of exora will know the more accurate answer than the online guidelines. 2 options here: city driving and highway driving. thanks!! Lol impossible. My average about 12l/100km for city driving. Highwaya bit better. Probably 10-11L. Unless my car got problem

Yeah even cruising at 140km/h seemed pretty silent too. conti comfort contact cc5 ______ on a side note my wiper is mulfunctioning it doesn't go all the way back now on the slowest speed. wiper will move up and then hang there. have to use maximum speed to get it down and then immediately off the wiper

QUOTE(smallcrab @ Dec 28 2015, 12:07 AM) Hi , Is engine mineral oil can last for 6 months before next service? My Exora Turbo '14 is weekend ride, mileage is very low and sure <5,000 km in 6 months. Last service the SC stamped '3 months' for next service , but i see official Proton service interval is 6 months. So which is which, am confused. technically should service every 3 months or every 5000-10,000 km whichever comes first
