QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jan 14 2015, 11:06 PM) Been using the flip key for about 2 months+ now. Overall very good. I think you also need to hot glue a bit from inside, as the flip key case is not as water splash proof as original key that have the soft Plastic around the chip. The flip key corner have large gap opening, at least with mine....If you do plan to get it, make sure you adjust the internal spring mechanism of the flip key to make it as "springy" as possible. Also, apply some super glue to the screw holding the rear top cover piece in place. Apply it along the screw threading, then tighten the screw in. This prevents the spring mechanism from becoming loose after a few weeks of use » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by gl7: Jan 15 2015, 03:54 AM |

QUOTE(loutze @ Mar 5 2015, 03:32 PM) these plates are actually done by Proton Sales showroom, sales man sometimes outsource to some cheap road side number plate maker for you. How to get this done FREE? go back to the SALESMAN / SHOWROOM and ask them to "FIX IT" QUOTE(alexei @ Mar 5 2015, 02:04 PM) Number plate is not Proton mia pasal, but rather is from dealer. Usually we paid for it. Warranty claim from dealer. true, i called the dealer, he will replace for me, but the holder is different one with label "iriz" and guess what, when i passing by the main road outside the dealer shop today, i saw another kind of new exora with its rear plate also dropped, and saw it turn into the road heading to the dealer shop, i did not follow it though, coincident? haha, most likely the dealer fuckup with their new cheap outsource. BTW, do you guys knows that the promo last year end, for the 3 years free services? it is like only 50% free/or better discounted services, some scammy marketing. As I also went for my first 1k service today (the car seldom use, 2 months+ only 700km, but when i called proton care regard the number plate, they said it is 1k or 1st month, but the service booklet showing 1k's month as "-".....). The proton system shows that my free service voucher serial numbers, it is bind to 1k, 10k, 20k, 30k and so on (but the voucher paper does not show these kilometers), and the service center tell me that if using the normal Mach 5 black oil, it is last for 5k, and when i come back at 5k, i will need to pay 100% for the 5k service, if choose the fully synthetic which last 10k, need to top up RM 150+ ....
When i called the dealer about this free service, they also does not know about these.... This post has been edited by gl7: Mar 5 2015, 07:53 PM |

QUOTE(loutze @ Mar 6 2015, 11:01 PM) Lucky dealer did not advertise their name on your name plate. My parents bought some new Honda, in papers stated RM50 for number plate. So Mom was very angry have to pay RM50 and number plate advertising "FREE" for Dealer... most likely the plate cost already included in the final price for mine, maybe Honda billing more transparent.. |
