End of life batch should be pretty much "problem free".

this statement is always true.

see..in engineering there is term "revision".
if there is an issue during 1st batch, that issue will be highlighted, rectified & implemented for the 2nd batch.

for me, if it is not demanding, buying car at its last cycle is the best, provided good engineering practice is adhered.

for example:
toyota vios reliable?
may be the engine & GB yes, but the chassis may be not.
engine & GB using the last gen vios, chassis is new.

Hi there,

this engine is the same as alza, right? Wrong.  biggrin.gif
This engine is turbocharged, not Naturally aspirated. Totally different. (Although still 16-Valve DOHC with Variable valve timing)
it has 205NM of ass-kicking torque from 2000RPM onwards  rclxms.gif vs Alza's 136NM (which you only get when you reach 4400RPM)

FC is lower for the Alza because of the weight (300Kilos lighter) vs exora's 1465Kilos.
If space is your concern, then you will forgive the Exora's extra FC.

sometimes i wonder how the FC would be if alza uses proton's 1.6L vvt & 1.6L cfe hmm.gif

just wondering,
would it be nice if cfe/turbo paired with manual gb..

cvt seems to have sound issue, but the manual as in iriz seems ok.

what makes proton not producing manual+cfe/turbo?

Hope he agrees... some folks would actually require paddle shift for their cars eventhough it's not F1 grade. Dual-clutch automatic would beat that paddleshift any day.

Dont escalate too much. I just wanna know why turbo manual isnt there yet.

Regarding cvt or not, im comparing with punch cvt in exora with manual gb in iriz, in term of buzzyness.

No comments on paddleshift.
