@alexei - From as far as I can tell, there are no visible DRL at the headlamp. But then again, as rightfully mentioned by @supergen3 in his post, the fog lights are now using LEDs and not bulbs, which could mean they are meant to function as DRL.

In addition, if you guy take a closer look at the tail lights, you will noticed that the numbers of LEDs has been reduced from 15 nos. to only 9 nos.

The headlights based color is more or less the tone of the body paint... champagne gold...

Also, it boast 4 airbags instead of 2... not sure where they are located exactly though.

Peeped into the interior of the car... no noticeable difference though, but it was quite dark, so I may have missed out some details.

Oh... the fog lights or DRL has a chrome ring on it...

Clocked about 39xxx as of today.

Just came back from CoSE moments ago. Had 1 engine mounting and 1 gearbox mounting replaced after experiencing prolonged humming and vibration, usually during low speed, when you accelerate a little and let go the pedal, allowing the car to just cruise at 10, 20 or 30+ kmph.

After the above replacement, no more irritating "grrr" sound. Previously had the radiator nipple replaced at CoSE as well.

Manually tighten one lose screw for the middle row seat by removing the side cover. Before tightening, you will hear some vibration from the seat at certain speed. After tightening, no more vibration nor sound.

So far, no major issue nor problems. Happy with the car except the repeatedly mentioned cabin noise. Well, plastics are plastics.

By the way, mine was a early 2014 model.

My OEM battery died on me earlier this month, approximately 21 months after possession of the car. No prior indication. Midnight still works well, next morning, it's gone.

As for tires, I noticed similarity with some owners here, where the front tires outer sides worn off much faster. It's my second set. Back still uses the original tires and easily about 50% thread left. Front, not so much. But then, it's Continental; worn off pretty fast.

Had my OCH (Oil Cooling Hose) replaced at CoSE today.

Confirmed the followings:

1. The replacement OCH is the same exact OCH in terms of materials that is supposedly to be defective and unsuitable for the use with our turbo engine.

2. There will only be one free replacement. Future replacements are chargeable (supposedly).

3. Owners are advised to replace their OCH at a regular interval of 40,000km to prevent deterioration of the OCH, much like other wear and tear parts.

4. CoSE ran out of stock for OCH and the next batch will be arriving on 18 March 2016. Quantity undisclosed. So, if you have made an appointment for OCH replacement at CoSE between tomorrow and 18 March 2016, please call and reconfirm on stock availability before going to save a trip.

5. The process takes about 4 to 5.5 hours, depending on what time you arrive and if they return your car to you before or after their lunch break.

If anyone knows of a better aftermarket OCH replacement, please do share. Not going to keep replacing something defective (unsuitable material) repeatedly. That is like a time bomb waiting for explosion. Better replace it with something suitable for its purpose and use.

Those affected, where mileage is less than 30,000km, don't be in such a hurry for a replacement... hold on to it a little so that you can get a brand new OCH and buy some time before the next replacement.

Besides, most SC won't change it for you if your mileage is low... they will tell you to reschedule at a later time and priorities are given to those with 40,000km or above...

In short, it's still buying time... Proton buying time, Owner also buying time.

I see smile.gif Which SC do you go to?
My mileage is about 31k km now. Getting close to the 40k km mark. Feels like a ticking time bomb  unsure.gif
