Guys wanna ask about exora dvd player (roof mounted)

any idea if I can fit a bluetooth wireless transmitter to the roof mounted unit and transmit sound to the head unit via bluetooth?

if yes any place I can buy that bluetooth transmitter and approx price? TQ

(I went to accessory shop, asked to help sort out the sound system for the roof unit, guy at shop say can't do and some sarcastic remarks about proton dvd player.... asked him to fit DIY USB speaker for me also not willing to do.... problem is playing DVD roof unit through FM channel gets alot of interference)

one of my plan is to get android stick with bluetooth to play movie and transmit sound thru HU. i just hope the USB port is enough to power the stick. but how can i channel the video? sweat.gif laugh.gif

one thing that i dont understand is, why the audio signal couldnt get through at basement parking. anybody care to explain? unsure.gif

if not mistaken, the usb is only for input to DVD player

not output

but anyway, u can always try and if it works, u can share your experience here  rclxms.gif

yes pen drive will light up but u r trying to get bluetooth thing, right?

for pen drive, it can read

for other function, i don't think the usb can support
*
im talking about android stick with its own os and of course integrated bluetooth. video out from stick to video in of dvdplayer (if theres any..). if the current is too low to support the stick then it wont work.

might as well stick a 10"tab to the player.

The Android stick outputs to HDMI port, and powered by that port, not USB.

Yes. Our eb dvdbplayer can be used as the diaplay monitor for android stick. Video to dvd player via hdmi. Power from usb port. Audio to HU via blue tooth.

Supposed so, but specifically PATCO supplied parts.
Refer to attachment, it seems the oil cooler assembly is the culprit, not the hoses themselves.
Maybe a coincidence but if not mistaken, the hose burst is the problem here, the oil cooler is another thing in question.

ir5Please refer to attached memo.

2die4The stock hose has rubber lining inside, and it supposedly soften when heated and that could prevent oil leak at the joint.
Problem it appears now, the oil hose expands over time and bursts earliest at 40k. Stock hoses are pre-formed so some corners are thinner than the rest.

YouDontKnowMyNameYou can do this to the oil cooler hose to prevent it from bursting... but not from leaks.
