Hi, not to upset everyone here but just some kind advices.

For those who interested to become a pilot, be prepare to face the following risks.

1) Pilot is an extremely high risk job
2) Pilots have an extremely high risk to suffer from permanent hearing fatigue due to several different flying environments, including aviation operations, laboratory studies and high-fidelity simulations.
3) Pilots may also suffered from prolonged health problems due to different flying times and jetlet.
4) Insurance companies may charge higher premiums for pilots.
5) It is extremely difficult to apply for credit cards from some financial institutions due to some obvious reasons.
6) When you have family later on, you will spend most of your time flying instead of with your family.

Why I am familiar with the above risks? Because my cousin is a pilot.

My fren who is a first officer in AirAsia told me that he earns about RM12K a month, ie RM6K as basic and RM6K as allowance.

Is that true? Anyone here mind to confirm this?
