I'm curious about something anyway to those that is already crew of SIA. I've heard Cargo earn more than mainfleet and of course, SilkAir. Why is that? Does the same applies for a Captain? Since mainfleet does earn about 50% more for its allowance as compared to their FO while Cargo pay seems to be the same for their out-of-base pay. And is it true that Cargo get paid a mere income as a trainee no matter you got a degree or not as contradicting with mainfleet and SilkAir? What's the big difference then between Cargo and the others?

And also, since the plane used by the Cargo consists of 747s and they are more than 6 yrs old already. Are they going to be replaced by the 777s of mainfleet or those new intake of planes which i seriously doubt since they usually use a "new" plane for the passengers of mainfleet. Mind enlighten me anyone?
