ya lorh. damn expensive. you know any watch shop sell good quality bands? all i went is damn so hideous and look cheap. does shop like timekeeper, city chain sell watch bands?
*
Good quality watch bands:

If you want Nato: http://www.cheapestnatostraps.com/ (I using this now, good quality and cheap)

Another good site: http://wristsolution.com/store/ (Msian site, I bought a few, recommended seller)

If you want quality leather band, can check out Fossil, they sell good bands, but a bit expensive, but good quality.

Timekeeper or City Chain usually they don't sell bands only.

Any body have any idea what is happening, notification comes, my watch screen doen't bright up or vibrate.

But when I click on the screen, I can see all the notifications.
*
Is this happening for all your notifications? Or only notifications from certain apps?

Does the notification appear on your phone & Phone Status Bar? And I assume you did not put your watch to silent mode/theater mode?

I am abit confused now, sometimes certain apps will appear in the notification, sometimes it won appear at all. And when it appear, it does not vibrate only until I try to look on my watch to tell time, then only I noticed there are notifications.
All notifications do appear on phone and phone status bar.

Yes, my watch is not in silent and theater mode. Confirmed.
*
Ok, this is what happened based on my own experience. Basically if your notification does not vibrate your phone, it won't vibrate/light up on your watch. It follows your profile set on the phone.

Eg: Whatsapp: If your message does not light up/vibrate the phone, it does not light up/vibrate the watch. Try setting the notification on your "app" to vibrate, then try again with the watch, see whether the watch light up/vibrate or not.

Its quite annoying the profile system of Android Wear, but this is how it is.

My phone notification manager only have, notify, allow and restrict. Can't see where to set to vibrate.

I tried to set my phone to vibrate mode. My watch still doesn't wants to vibrate... oh god.  cry.gif

What phone are you using? Does your phone vibrate when you have notifications coming in? Android Wear mimics the notification behavior of your app on your phone.

Usually I will put my phone to silent. And depends on notifications from watch. But now, seems like I missed alot of notifications.
I am using Huawei Honor 6.

What I discovered now is:
Following will vibrate:
Phone call
Line
Facebook
Games notification

Following will not vibrate:
SMS
Email
WeChat
Whatsapp
*
Ok, let us try Whatsapp first, since I also using it without any issues.

In Settings/Notifications/Message Notifications --> Did you set Vibration?

If not, try set Vibration to "Short" then ask your friend to Whatspp you see whether watch will vibrate or not.

I restarted my phone. Wechat and Email are now functioning with vibration and screen on.

Whatsapp able to vibrate but the screen will not on.

FB Messenger and SMS still will not vibrate nor screen on.  rclxub.gif
*
Ok, at least you're having progress. Did you mute FB Messenger and SMS? Set it to full notifications (sound+vibrate on app setting), and try again.

Ok, I tried to set my phone profile to sound instead of silent, the watch can vibrate.

But I do not want my phone to ring as I have my watch to notify me. So in Android Wear app, I set the option to mute the phone when the watch is connected.

The SMS notification in the watch gone again.

Any other way to rectify this issue?
*
Ok, this may not be the best solution but you can try.

Use the Textra SMS app, it can be integrated to Android Wear, with nice Material Design UI. I am using it without any problems, recommended.

The apps working perfectly fine. And it vibrates the watch longer then other notifications.  rclxms.gif

Left with FB Messenger now.

Never thought that android wear need so much of knowledge to make it work.  Haha
*
Haha glad it worked out. I like Textra. smile.gif

About FB Messenger, not sure how I can help. Mine works ok, I did not adjust the notifications, just let it run as default. hmm.gif

luckily we have zhoud86 to help with the technical problems here. not many people know about AW like you biggrin.gif

i think the LTE version would consume a lot of battery, even with the added capacity. might want to see the actual real life usage review later.
*
Haha, just doing my best to share my personal experience with the AW OS. smile.gif

Yeah, it would be interesting to see the real life batter usage. Do note that this WebOS version can make calls too. biggrin.gif

Huawei Honor 6, Android 4.4.2.

I tried to go through Android Wear apps comment, quite a number complained notification did not reach the watch after updates.

And I only encounter this problem like starting from the last weekend. Not sure when is the Android Wear updated though.
*
Your Android Wear is 5.0.2 right?

Thanks for helping me, and thanks for the suggestion.

Wondering what are the phones users using here. Anyone using China phone??  rclxub.gif
*
1 way to proof what is the issue, is that you pair it with another phone.

Oh, and did you do a Reset on your watch?

Try reset, then Resync all apps (will take a while, and consume lots of battery), but usually after an update you should reset the watch & resync all apps.

I found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-LG-G-WAT...=item234530ee76

and it's so much cheaper than buying here, do you think it's a good idea to buy from other countries?
*
Not really much cheaper than here. I would prefer DirectD with 2 years local warranty.

Link: http://www.directd.com.my/lg-g-watch-r-w110-imported-set

PayPal uses slightly higher exchange rate, so expect about almost RM900 with USD239 price.

Off-topic here, The new Huawei SmartWatch are Sapphire with OLED, which mean more superior than G Watch R? hmm.gif
*
I think in terms of durability, Sapphire Glass is definitely more superior, you only get Sapphire Glass on higher end Swiss watches.

In terms of OLED, not sure yet. LG G Watch R uses P-OLED, LG's own in-house technology.

The Phone is Malaysia set. I don't think it is from China ROM. Not sure about this though.
*
Actually I think if I am not mistaken, I have heard of issues with phones from China brand due to their stock ROM. I might be wrong though, can ask around/check online.
