WebOS LG version only coming on 2016 I think.

Btw, LG G Watch R featured on LYN article: http://www.lowyat.net/2015/01/hands-on-lg-g-watch-r/

What interests me is the last statement: "...stay tuned for a full review to see if this was some RM850 well spent!"

Not sure where he got it for RM850..

Curious about the battery life as well. Should be better than the Moto 360 right?

Btw, is it possible to install Moto 360's stock watch faces?
*
Yeah, generally the G WaR's battery is better than Moto 360 due to battery capacity and processor used.

Moto 360 stock faces cannot be installed on G WaR via Moto Connect App, only way is to design individual watchfaces (to look like Moto stock) and install via Facer or Watchmaker app.

It's using the Snapdragon 400 right? So roughly can last how many days? 2 days max can ah if not connected to any device, just the watch and just using its health kit features? If connected how many days can it last?

Ahh that's a shame. Prefer the stock Moto face compared to LG's..
*
Battery life, I am not really sure. If Always-On mode is OFF, I think can easily achieve 2 days, this is if its connected to the phone. Non-Connected, I am not sure, have to ask the guys here, but so far I hardly heard of anyone using it "offline" because the time might even not be accurate.

Btw, we are referring to the Watch's Android Wear Firmware 5.0.2, not on the Phone's Android. smile.gif

Actually, Lollipop 5.0 have BT issues too. My OnePlus with AOSP 5.0 will not connect to any BT devices. Now, I updated to 5.0.2 and BT works beautifully.
*
Ah okay. smile.gif I just highlight coz many mix up with AW 5.0 and Android 5.0.

You need to re-sync apps, then wait for a while, until it appears on your list of watchfaces.

An old question, facer and watchmaker which one better?
*
I have both but currently I am leaning towards Facer, for me battery life not really affected by it. Not too sure about WatchMaker, because when I use it with Ambient Mode OFF, the hour/minute/second hands always appear first before the background, kinda annoyed with that. tongue.gif

can it applied to lg g watch r? as i cant see how it can be done. might be interested to buy one if i know how to assemble it later.
*
I don't see why not? Just standard 22mm strap which is suitable for the LG Watch R. Only when charging you just need to loosen the strap so the charging cradle can fit under the body.

Only issue with NATO strap is that Heart Rate monitor cannot be used when using the strap.

how much per strap person then? inclusive of postage?
*
You just go to the site, choose the strap you want, and let me know, I will assume we manage to get 5 items, then apply the discount code and factor in shipping cost, and let you know how much it cost, if its ok, I will make a bulk list and reserve a spot for you.

I am not doing this for profit, just that if we can get 5 straps, everyone share benefit together. rclxms.gif

Hello my fellow brothers of GWR! Im new here. Got mine as birthday present. biggrin.gif

I have a question. any of you guys using cimb debit card to purchase apps at google play? before this i can buy apps using cimb debit. last month i change my card as the card is broken.

when i add my new cimb card number and every details name, address etc when purchasing app, the system said the card number is invalid, or sometime it said the details are wrong. already asked cimb whether my debit is activate or not. they say it is activated and all the details i entered are correct. any of you experience this kind of problem?

sorry for the non-question. but somehow its kinda related tho cuz i want to buy Facer app! haha biggrin.gif
*
Hmm, I don't have much of a problem. Did you ask your card provider to allow purchases via Google Play in case they blocked it? Sometimes card provider blocks transactions they deem suspicious.

found this watch band on TYLT website. its for moto 360 but i believe 360 also has 22mm wide isnt it? so lawa weh but the price... sad.gif

link http://www.tylt.com/moto360-band/
*
Yes, width wise its the same, 22mm. But bands for the Moto 360 have a gap in the middle of band.

theres no gap in the middle of the band. oredi check.  biggrin.gif
*
That is weird...Without the gap (similar to Pebble Steel bands), there is no way to install the band onto the Moto 360 unless they remove the middle plastic notch on the watch, voiding the warranty.

Unless the band is special? rclxub.gif Only way I can think of is that, the springbar position is very close to the edge of the band...

Even original band got gap in the middle, check here:

maybe TYLT meant the band is actually for our GWR?  biggrin.gif the band looks so lawa weh.  wub.gif

Haha, don't think so, it is announced specifically for Moto 360, but I am sure G WaR can use it without any problem. But so expensive for silicone band...not worth at all imo.
