If using stock watchface definitely going to have some kind of burn-in since most of the stock watchface's dim mode is too bright. Better use Watchmaker and download watchface that have dim mode that have lower brightness, or better yet customise the watchface's brightness in dim mode inside Watchmaker.

brand new 3 months local warranty.. might be AP set.

same as mine, didnt wear lgr since months already. i suspect the looping was caused by the 3rd party charger port i used, the usb hub that has it's own power supply 

i gave up mine ady, tried reading in xda, seems it's permanent damage

That's what I suspect, because when the sales person emailed me saying it is available and limited stock only and it is in unsealed box. So I called up DirectD and they told me no stock yet. They told me to call again on Monday to check for stocks availability. Hmm, I better wait till there are stocks first.

but G watch R doesn't have built-in wifi chip right?

my watch spoil after i didnt turn it on for some period.. the screen exactly same like old tv when there is no channel.. no warranty as bought from lazada.

same adapter.. there is some weird case happen before that.. the watch constantly turn off when its not connected with charger..

It keep turn on and off till 1 time it freeze.. and when on 2nd time free, it show fuzzy screen.. then i force it restart and it works normally.. and after few min it freeze again..after that it keep show fuzzy screen..

But some update right now, the screen now works normally when i dissemble it and plug it back.. (turn on without back cover) i think it really something to do with LG quality when assemble it?

guys.. anyone test android wear for iOS using this watch?

was your android wear updated to the latest version (Android Wear 1.3) when trying to pair with iOS ? Read some forums that you'll first need to pair the watch to android phone to update it to the latest version and only then will it pair with iOS. It even worked with Moto 360 so it will definitely work with the G Watch R.
