i dont want to be rude, but after reading some of the comments here,i kind of get the feeling that some are clueless about the stock market.

please read up about the stock market a little bit. at least learn the basics before you
parted with your hard earned money.

at PE of 20 @ipo price, maximum dividend you can get is 5% dividend.

i have not read the prospectus, someonw mentioned pe of 22, maximum dividend is 4.5% if they distribute all the earning

of course they can give more dividend than what the company earn but the money is taken from cash reserves and thus not sustainable

yes, compare it with TNB, why malakoff deserves almost double the current valuation of TNB

look at drbhicom, look at the current state of the stock now, no one even interested, quite sad actually

yes, i am holding and consider buying more if it drops below 1.6 again.

cash cow with 3.5% yield at 1.80? super yield indeed

if you just coming in for the dividend REIT is a better bet, heck even FD is better than this.

yes, did u sell at the peak then? i am too lazy to check but i think it takes 2 years to reach that point since listing yes? Give you another case, what if you are still holding since IPO? where is gas malaysia now?

there is much better example and a very recent one, bioalpha holding....

but do not expect it will follow bioholding gain within 1 week, Malakoff is almost 30 times the size of bioholding in term of market cap during IPO.

what i am trying to say is that almost no one expected bioholding can ever achieve that price level. most people including me would be happy queuing at 50% gain for bioholding while it actually went much higher. Of course the opposite could happen as well.

4.20? well that depends right, next recession is not that far away, we haven't had any recession for a very long time already, not sure this can be reach before that.

yes it is beyond ambitious, it is even outrageous when it is already twice the PE of TNB upon listing

no la, i heard it is Rm 3.60, since this company so good , we can have 100% premium in black market, during listing it is going to RM 4.20 anyway.
