Wonder whether these large IPO's are not attracting people anymore because most of the time people can buy these shares at IPO prices or lower after listing?

QUOTE(seehan77 @ May 4 2015, 06:24 AM) Spoke to a few senior remisiers on Malakoff IPO subscription, why the appetite for retailers are very low compared to overwhelming response from institutional? Could Malakoff have done better if allocated more to foreign companies and institutions or it is restricted by SC?There are a few reasons they are quoting: 1. Most retailers stuck in the market correction 2. Mainly not all familiar with Malakoff business, might be linked to 1MDB 3. RM1.80 is quite expensive for most of retailers, mainly they prefer something below RM1 However, based on them the outlook is very positive since the stock is a defensive stock. Target is around 6-9 months minimum. |

QUOTE(tokkah @ May 17 2015, 10:29 AM) If you manage to sell at IPO price next week , you only lost on the brokerage fees ( + other small fees & GST ) . If the shares go down like FGV , ICON , BPlant , AAX and etc and sell it , then your lost will be a lot . So, decide wisely . Notice some big buyers at closing time on Friday hence will hold and monitor SM buy quantity. |

Can you say that the IPO price is currently stable at 1.79/1.80?
