Is there any difference between the region 1 and region 3 for Witcher 3? Will there be censorship of violence and nudity in region 3?
I saw some YouTube video stating there are censorship in certain version like Japan and Middle East, will Bolehland version also suffer censorship?

I bought the base game, this is my first AAA game for PS4 that is not remastered of PS3..... And for the first time I hear my PS4's fan running like jet engine..... I thought this shouldn't happen to the lastest 1206 model? I hope this game isn't going to shorten my console life the noisy fan didn't happened with Driveclub though...

Been playing the Witcher 3 for a few days, 2-3 hours a day and yet only level 2 character...... feel the game is super slow in terms of progression.
Am I playing the game wrong? I cleared at least 70-80% of the question marks on the initial world map, found 3-4 power stones, uncovered quite a number of hidden treasures, killed some specters, bear, drownies, lots of bandits but the experience acquired is slow as hell I'm playing the normal difficulty.

I follow those beginners tips that I should clear all the side quests as the initial world map will be locked once we completed the first main quest of asking the where about of Yenifer......

Weird..... I had to do quests that have recommended level above my character level because I can't seem to level up with side quests
I'm no RPG expert but my RPG experience over the years is that leveling up should not require grinding in the initial stage, by other RPG game standard I should have at least level up 3-4 times already considering the quests/tasks completed.....

So you're level 4 after completing White Orchard (the first map) and truly ventured into the real big map?
I usually play wizard/mage in most RPG as each levelling up means opening more flashy magic attacks..... Witcher's magic attack is of course nowhere near wizard/mages as the witcher is more like a warrior build that has weak magic as supplementary skill, if the progression is so slow and gameplay remain at this pace I'm not sure the game can keep me interested to finish it....

I'm not looking for easy game, just a game that's entertaining with proper pacing. I hope the slow pacing is only restricted to the tutorial level White Orchard.
I feel the pacing is weird mainly because I encountered side quests that have recommended level way beyond my existing character level, but the only way to really progress in this game is to complete main quest (as I found out from other forum that main quest give the most experience but side quest and killing monsters gave only petty experience), so it's rather counter-intuitive that we actually should finish the main quest (to gain proper level) before we can tackle side quest.....

Hmm... do you easily get nausea from playing games, car sick and such? I suggest you to use the witcher sense in stationary view and not move around while using it , just look at one direction and activate the witcher sense, release the witcher sense and look at another direction. The witcher sense's reddish trail will remain for a few seconds even after you disengage it.

Yup, Geralt is a warrior class with minor magic sub-skill. The only sorcerer-like character with powerful magic in the game I believe is his lover Yennefer. Since the developer said this is the last Witcher game, hopefully their next RPG will have different classes to choose (such feature is a norm in modern day RPG).

I didn't play the first 2 games either, but as pointed out by many, it's not really that big a deal. Maybe certain plot references will make more sense to the veteran, if there are crucial references to prior game, I'm sure the developer would use some way to re-tell that portion of story in flash back or whatever.... I come for monster slaying and "gal hunting", cheesy story is merely foreplay.... We have to hunt down Yennefer to teach her a lesson or two about leaving the kitchen unattended, Geralt needs his sandwiches while slaying monsters

I killed the first griffin last night, will present the griffin head to complete the first tutorial map and proceed to the actual world map tonight Almost level 4 but my character is very poor, have only 87 coins because it's so damn expensive to repair swords and armor yet customer pay so little

I only encountered very mild vibration when near the power stone

Repairing the blade costs 100 coin, yet tedious quest that reward you with money is a meager 20-30coins..... My Witcher is very poor and cannot afford frequent repair
Is this a beginner level problem that will be solved with better reward quests at higher level? I can't save money as the constant repair simply drain all the coins. Selling items gives petty return like 2-3 coins only per item... Not sure to sell or dismantle items (which also cost money)....

I don't like the equipment and weapons damages implemented in Witcher 3, the wear and tear feels too fast, it's more of an annoyance instead of adding realism to gameplay

Good to hear that, just have to bear the inconvenience of the beginner character until later higher level

I'm still level 4 only, had a weird encounter with a Wywern (not sure level 8 or what, all this detail too small to see even on my 55 inch TV), have to slash it countless times for few minutes before it dies (but it never retaliate.... poor creature)
Will not be able to play this game for a week due to overseas assignment I guess I won't be leveling up any time soon

I see in the PSN shop expansion description, Blood and Wine features 30 hours of additional gameplay, tripple of that in the first expansion. Also I read that this 2nd expansion has vastly improved graphic, not just more colourful environment, but better visual optimisation that the developer said was sadly unable to retrospectively apply to the base game.

You mean you start playing the game at Death March difficulty with a level 1 Geralt?
The game hints mentioned we can change the difficulty at any time, does that mean we can tune up the difficulty towards the end of the game to earn related trophy? I'm currently level 10 only at normal difficulty

Oh bummer.... I guess it's better to stick to my normal difficulty cause I constantly ran into higher level enemies that one hit kill Geralt :

I find it very annoying with Geralt easily over burdened. I suppose the food and crafting items have zero weight, right?

Oh it was that bad before.... but it's already the 3rd of the series : Yeah I tried selling but sometimes the blacksmith doesn't seem to replenish their cash. Normal merchant pay even less for weapons if not mistaken :

Just curious Can I finish the game first at other difficulty and restart a new game at Deathmatch difficulty with the already level-up Geralt to earn the trophy? If not, can I still keep the level-up Geralt (Geralt A), and start a Deathmatch difficulty new game with level zero Geralt (Geralt B). Will the original Geralt A save game be overwritten?
